About this event

Step into stillness through the meditative art of sutra calligraphy.

Hosted in BTSAN PO’s Himalayan cultural space in the heart of New York City, this weekly one-hour session invites you to hand-copy the Heart Sutra (般若波罗蜜多心经) using either a traditional brush or a brush-style pen — no prior experience required.

To support your practice, we provide all materials, including calligraphy tools, tracing paper, and templates. The space is quiet and intimate, enhanced by the scent of Tibetan incense and soft Himalayan ambient music.

This is more than a class — it's a moment to slow down, reconnect with your breath, and anchor your attention in a sacred, focused act of writing.
