We will walk through parks, small alleyways, inside buildings and talk about the written details on the walls of the most iconic buildings in New York City like the Public Library, Grand Central Terminal and the Rockefeller Center, to name a few.
This tour will explain to you how to easily get around the city and understand how the city works. Along the way, we’ll connect fascinating stories of history and architecture, and introduce you to the people who helped make the U.S. a global powerhouse and gave New Yorkers their unmistakable Empire State of Mind.
Meeting point: Find us BEHIND the Bryant Park Public Restroom, just behind the New York Public Library. Get ready to discover the heart of NYC on foot!
Don’t miss this free tour to explore iconic sites and learn about the rich history of Midtown Manhattan. Lace up your walking shoes and join us for an unforgettable experience!
The Free Walking Tour concept is famous all over the world and every big city has them. FREE stands for FREEDOM OF SPEECH so they can express how it is living in the city and tell you the stories from their perspective, which is a bit different than what the mainstream media and the internet tells us. At the end of the tour you’ll determine how much you wanna leave to the guide. Usually people leave about $20-30 per person but it’s up to you to decide how much you feel this tour was worth it. The guides are not paid by anyone else.
