NYC FIRST - Intro to Industrial Design with Fusion 360

In this hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of industrial design using Fusion 360, a powerful cloud-based 3D modeling software used by engineers, product designers, and manufacturers. Students will learn how to sketch, model, and assemble parts while exploring key design principles like parametric modeling and component-based design.

The session will also cover how to create technical drawings and prepare models for 3D printing or fabrication. By the end of the class, participants will have designed a simple product and gained practical skills to continue developing real-world design projects.
