The ROLE Call in partnership with Staten Island Borough President James Oddo and Healthy Families Staten Island will be hosting the NYC Fatherhood and Family Enrichment Conference on Saturday April 9, 2016 from 9:30am to 3pm at Port Richmond High School in Staten Island, NY. This conference will feature keynote addresses, workshops, seminars and resources from experts in the fields of Family and Fatherhood services. Free Lunch Will Be Provided.
Workshops and seminars that educate the participants on topics pertaining to fatherhood and family such as: Fatherhood Engagement and Involvement, Positive Co-Parenting, New Fathers Workshops, Child Support Information, Family Financial Planning etc. There will also be workshops specifically for members of our Spanish speaking community. One special workshop will be designed for staff and officials that work in schools, early childhood education and community programs to learn how to develop and maintain a vibrant Fatherhood Program within their organizations. *Community Center Directors, Educators, Pre-School Directors, Family Workers, Parent Coordinators, Elementary and Middle School Principals are strongly encouraged to attend.*
The ROLE Call, Healthy Families Staten Island and Borough President James Oddo are excited to bring a conference to New York City and hosted in Staten Island that help serve families and fathers. The Theme of this year's conference is "Strong Families Build Strong Communities" This conference is free and open to the public, mothers and fathers are both welcomed to attend.
