NSHSS Member Event at University of Florida

NSHSS scholars and their guests are invited to attend the NSHSS Member Event at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, on April 25. Join fellow NSHSS members and their families from across the United States for educational opportunities, academic recognition, inspiring sessions, and networking. This event is a celebration of academic excellence. All members will be recognized for outstanding academic achievement during the medallion ceremony.

Attendees are responsible for getting to and from the event location. NSHSS does not assist with airfare or hotels. Tickets will be sold on a 'first-come, first-served' basis, and once the event is sold out, it will be sold out for this year.

PARKING:The Bookstore/Welcome Center Parking Garage (Garage XII) is located at the Reitz Union, at the corner of Museum Road and Reitz Union Drive. Additional parking is available at Garage 5 located on Gale Lemerand Drive. These garages are unrestricted pay facilities available to all visitors and members of the UF community run by UF's Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS). • Guests staying at the Reitz Union Hotel receive free gated rooftop parking for one vehicle.

HOTEL: NSHSS has secured a courtesy block of hotel rooms at the Reitz Union Hotel - the University of Florida event venue!

Book BEFORE: April 9, 2026

REFUND POLICY: If you are no longer able to attend, please email rsvp@nshss.org, and we can transfer your tickets to another NSHSS event currently available on Eventbrite. You can also transfer your registration to another event via your Eventbrite account until the day before the event date. On the day of the event and beyond, registration transfers are no longer allowed in the Eventbrite system, and transferring to another event will no longer be an option. Transferred tickets are non-refundable.

Up to 15 days before the event starts, attendees can request automatic refunds in full back to their original payment method directly through their Eventbrite account.

Refunds to the original payment method will be issued in full for manual refund requests received up to 15 days before the event starts. After submitting your refund request in writing by email to rsvp@nshss.org, please allow up to five (5) business days to process your refund request. After 14 days before the event starts, no refunds will be issued. All further sales are non-refundable.

This event will take place rain or shine. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled event date or may be refunded on a case-by-case basis. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full.
