NSHSS Member Event at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

NSHSS looks forward to seeing you, our outstanding members, and your families at our Member Event in the Ackerman Union Grand Ballroom on the campus of UCLA. Join fellow NSHSS members and their families from across the United States for educational opportunities, academic recognition, networking, and making new friends! This event is a celebration of academic excellence. We'll end the day with our Member Recognition Ceremony, where each NSHSS member in attendance will be recognized for their incredible academic achievements.

We recommend that you register as soon as possible. Seating is limited, and registration will close once we reach the venue's maximum capacity. Only those who register via Eventbrite will be admitted to the event. Registration fees are non-refundable.

PARKING: Event attendees should plan to park in Parking Structure 4 (221 Westwood Plaza), Parking Structure 8 (555 Westwood Plaza), or Parking Structure 9 (675 Charles E Young Dr. South). Parking fees will range from $4-$16 MAX for the day. https://transportation.ucla.edu/campus-parking/visitors

HOTEL: NSHSS will secure courtesy blocks of hotel rooms at surrounding UCLA-favored hotels. Check the event page for booking links!

REFUND POLICY: If you are no longer able to attend, please email rsvp@nshss.org, and we can transfer your tickets to another NSHSS event currently available on Eventbrite. You can also transfer your registration to another event via your Eventbrite account until the day before the event date. On the day of the event and beyond, registration transfers are no longer allowed in the Eventbrite system, and transferring to another event will no longer be an option. Transferred tickets are non-refundable.

Up to 15 days before the event starts, attendees can request automatic refunds in full back to their original payment method directly through their Eventbrite account.

Refunds to the original payment method will be issued in full for manual refund requests received up to 15 days before the event starts. After submitting your refund request in writing by email to rsvp@nshss.org, please allow up to five (5) business days to process your refund request. After 14 days before the event starts, no refunds will be issued. All further sales are non-refundable.

This event will take place rain or shine. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled event date or may be refunded on a case-by-case basis. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

NSHSS would like to acknowledge the recent devastation and losses experienced by multiple Los Angeles County and surrounding area residents, including those adversely affected on the UCLA campus. As such, at this time, our 2025 UCLA event has been POSTPONED and has been rescheduled to occur on March 7, 2026. We hope the southern California community takes the time it will need to be fully restored and renewed in the aftermath of the recent fires.

Ticket Transfers

If you want to join us in March 2026 for our rescheduled member event on the UCLA campus, your purchased tickets have automatically transferred over. NO ADDITIONAL ACTION IS REQUIRED OF YOU AT THIS TIME. The event date was updated to March 7, 2026, in Eventbrite, so your purchased tickets will remain active for this new event date, as they currently are listed. Should your plans change, you will have until late February 2026 to request a refund.

Ticket Sale Refunds

If you cannot attend this new date and would like to receive a refund for your ticket purchase, you can process this refund request via Eventbrite to have your funds returned to your original form of payment. Refunds are automated through the Eventbrite platform, so you do not need to contact an NSHSS staff member to process this refund. Please log in to your Eventbrite account (using the email address in which you are receiving this email), and you should have the option to request your refund on these UCLA tickets directly from Eventbrite. If you experience issues following these steps, you may contact an NSHSS team member at rsvp@nshss.org for assistance.
