NSHSS Member Event at The University of Texas at Austin 2026
Overview
NSHSS scholars, their families, and educators are invited to attend the NSHSS Member Event at The University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas, on February 7. Join fellow NSHSS members and their families from across the United States for educational opportunities, academic recognition, networking, and making new friends! This event is a celebration of academic excellence. All members will be recognized for outstanding academic achievement during the medallion ceremony.

Attendees are responsible for getting to and from the event location. NSHSS does not assist with airfare or hotels.
We recommend that you register as soon as possible. Seating is limited, and registration will close once we reach the venue's maximum capacity. Only those who register via Eventbrite will be admitted to the event. Registration fees are non-refundable.

PARKING: Event attendees should plan to park in the San Antonio Garage (SAG), the Rowling Hall Garage (RHG), or the Conference Center Garage (CCG). Parking fees will range from $3-$21 MAX for the day. https://parking.utexas.edu/parking/visitor
HOTEL: NSHSS will secure a courtesy block of hotel rooms at surrounding The University of Texas at Austin-favored hotels. Check the event page for booking links!
REFUND POLICY: If you are no longer able to attend, please email rsvp@nshss.org, and we can transfer your tickets to another NSHSS event currently available on Eventbrite. You can also transfer your registration to another event via your Eventbrite account until the day before the event date. On the day of the event and beyond, registration transfers are no longer allowed in the Eventbrite system, and transferring to another event will no longer be an option. Transferred tickets are non-refundable.
Up to 15 days before the event starts, attendees can request automatic refunds in full back to their original payment method directly through their Eventbrite account.
Refunds to the original payment method will be issued in full for manual refund requests received up to 15 days before the event starts. After submitting your refund request in writing by email to rsvp@nshss.org, please allow up to five (5) business days to process your refund request. After 14 days before the event starts, no refunds will be issued. All further sales are non-refundable.
This event will take place rain or shine. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled event date or may be refunded on a case-by-case basis. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

Event Check-In & Badge Pick-Up
Attendees will check in with a digital or printed copy of their tickets, and members will receive name badges.
Networking Breakfast and College & Career Fair
Attendees will have the chance to gather information from College & Career Fair exhibitors. NSHSS will provide a catered continental breakfast for all event participants.
