NSAC Winter Season Welcome Event: Stone Soup & the Power of Persistence
Overview
Join us for a free, family-friendly Winter Welcome Event as we kick off the Nature Sprouts Adventure Club season with our beloved introductory lesson, Stone Soup.
Inspired by the classic story and rooted in nature-based, play-led learning, children will receive their very own special stone and work together to transform simple materials—water, stones, and natural treasures—into a magical batch of “stone soup.” Along the way, little explorers will practice persistence, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving as they discover there is no “right” way to play—only their own ideas, curiosity, and imagination.
This welcoming gathering introduces families to the heart of Nature Sprouts: a supportive outdoor community where children are encouraged to explore in their own way, learn from one another, and build confidence through hands-on nature play
Perfect for children ages 1.5–8 and their caregivers, this event is a joyful, low-pressure way to experience our program, meet our leaders, and celebrate the start of a season focused on growing grit, trying again, and learning how to keep going—together.
✨ Come play, connect, and kick off winter with us! Feel free to Sign up here but you will need to navigate to our official forms page to finish your registration.
