NRA Defensive Pistol Class 2025

This NRA Certified Course focuses on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course is to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed firearm ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. As a result of participating in this course, the student will be able to explain and demonstrate the following: How to apply the NRA Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed handgun, basic principles of concealment, the difference between cover and concealment, drawing from the holster, levels of mental awareness, developing the proper mindset when using a handgun for personal protection, clearing common stoppages, use of pocket pistols, and more. Students who successfully complete the course will receive the NRA Defensive Pistol certificate. This course is conducted by an NRA Certified Advanced Pistol Instructor. It requires at least 100 rounds of ammunition and an outside the waistband holster. Classes begin at 9:00 AM and end at 1:00 PM. Cost is $119.

A minimum of three students is reuired for this course.
