NRA Basic Pistol Training

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a pistol and revolver. The course is designed to provide beginning shooters a hands-on learning introduction necessary to own and use a specific revolver, pistol and model safely.

Students will learn the NRA’s Rules For Safe Gun Handling, handgun parts and operation of various models, types of calibers, components of ammunition, fundamentals of pistol, cleaning the weapons, and continued opportunities for skill development.

Students will receive the Basics of Pistol handbooks, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and FIRST Steps course completion certificate.

This course will offer students the opportunity to apply for their Arizona CCW Permit

10+ Years experience in firearms training, Retired US Army MP, CA BSIS Firearms and Baton Instructor, AZ DPS Firearms Instructor, NV PILB Firearms Instructor, USCCA Defensive Pistol Instructor, Criminal Justice Associate Professor, and Security Field Supervisor and Trainer.

Please do not bring your own weapon to class. NO AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!!
