NPR’s How I Built This with Guy Raz is expanding its reach and strengthening its community by embarking on its first one-day summit sponsored by American Express. This event, held at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, will showcase five of today’s top entrepreneurs in live interviews with Guy Raz, offer talks tailored to the challenges and opportunities related to entrepreneurship, and skills and support tracks to help you on your own entrepreneurial journey.

Like NPR’s How I Built This podcast, the summit will inspire you to think big as you build your own ventures: business, non-profit, creative, and beyond.

OCT 15, Monday (evening):

Premier reception for Premier ticket holders, speakers, and sponsors, hosted by Guy and the How I Built This team. Premier tickets are sold out.

OCT 16, Tuesday (all day):

A full day's programming including:

• Main Stage interviews featuring Guy Raz and five of today's top entrepreneurs: AirBnB’s Joe Gebbia, Lisa Price of Carol's Daughter, Rent the Runway’s Jennifer Hyman, Lyft’s John Zimmer, and Stitch Fix’s Katrina Lake.

• Two Break-Out Tracks, including:

Skills Track: Lightning lessons from experts in key entrepreneurial skills, such as user acquisition, understanding financials, and how to pitch.

Support Track: Interactive conversations led by experts in topics that affect the holistic entrepreneur, such as networking for introverts, stress management, and how to combat imposter syndrome.

• Peer Networking Lunch, where attendees will connect with others via groupings.

• Sponsors offering products and services targeting the entrepreneur.

• Mentorship opportunities for Premier ticket holders.

Continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, and coffee included in the cost of the ticket.
