The next installment in our monthly Lunch & Learn series where we feature a current NAWBO member as the guest speaker, educating other women business owners in her area of expertise.

It’s not unusual to find conversations with some colleagues or clients are just harder than they need to be. Or that there’s one person that constantly rubs us the wrong way. It’s annoying, isn’t it?

The thing is, it cuts both ways. The chances are we will be ‘that person’ to someone else. In fact, 20% of the people we meet won’t relate to us and might not even like us.

In our personal lives, this can be irritating, frustrating and upsetting. In business, it can even hurt our bottom line – things take longer to do, relationships become strained, deals don’t close and money gets left on the table.

This interactive and fun workshop will explore how behavioral styles can cause this, and more importantly what we can do to minimize the risk by learning how to flex.

About the presenter: 

Rebecca Maxwell is an experienced coach, trainer and leader. Before moving to NYC and co-founding Asentiv New York, Rebecca spent 27 years working in a variety of public agencies in the UK. Her last role was Deputy CEO of a 4,000 employee Council. Rebecca is passionate about helping people be aware of what makes them – and others – tick, and using that knowledge to create productive, strong and more effective business relationships.
