November First Fridays with Edwin Chow

By First Friday's Leadership Team

Overview

A special November First Friday honoring military, with up-and-coming local business owner Edwin Chow.

During November First Fridays, we honor those who have served our country. Join us on November 7th as we welcome Edwin Chow - a local leader with military roots and a growing impact on Fort Wayne.

You may know Edwin as the founder of Summit City Climbing Co., Fort Wayne’s first climbing gym. But that’s just one of his many ventures. He’s also an Army Officer, Ironman, entrepreneur, landlord, youth leader, and, yes, the ice cream guy—having recently opened The Berry, a new ice cream shop.

Beyond business, Edwin serves with the Army National Guard’s 1-293rd IN BN, leads youth at City Church, and even manages several Airbnbs.

At this month’s First Friday, Edwin will present “The Art of No: How to Create a Filter for Your Life.” If you’ve ever felt stretched too thin or unsure which commitments deserve your “yes,” this talk will help you build a filter - so you can cut through the noise, say no with confidence, and focus on what truly matters.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from one of Fort Wayne’s most inspiring emerging leaders and connect with other local professionals over great conversation and coffee.
