November Chapter Meeting with Native Bee Expert Krystle Hickman

For the November LA Climate Reality meeting we will be joined by Krystle Hickman, a Los Angeles-based National Geographic Explorer, TEDx speaker, conservation photographer, and native bee expert.

Krystle uses her photography to raise awareness about the decline of native bee species and their complex ecosystems.

Krystle’s work has been featured in the LA Times, on Vox, PBS, and the podcast Ologies. She has also presented at the 2024 UN Biodiversity Conference and in academic settings.
