This event is a hybrid training event sponsored by the Des Moines Chapter of AGA

On Wednesday, November 19th a combined monthly meeting, educational Lunch n’ Learn (LnL), and training webinar sponsored by the Des Moines Chapter of the AGA. Lunch (BYOL) begins at 11:30 am, followed by a brief business meeting. The LnL presentation begins at 12:00 pm followed by the webinar from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Successful government operations require that all involved uphold the highest professional ethics standards. Unfortunately, when these standards slip, an environment can be created that is ripe for abuse and vulnerable to fraudulent activity. This session will explore both what you can do to instill good conduct and what to look for when these obligations aren’t being met..

  • Learn how to instill and uphold strong ethical standards
  • Explore environments that are vulnerable to fraudulent practices
  • Develop detection methods for misconduct
