Nourishing the Water Element: A Winter Sound Bath for Deep Rest & Renewal
Overview
Saturday, December 12, 2025 • 6:30–8:30 pm
Devine Acupuncture • 103 Logan St, Suite 103, Downtown Charleston
As winter settles in and the pace of the year begins to shift, our bodies naturally crave stillness, warmth, and deep replenishment. In Chinese medicine, winter aligns with the Water element and the Kidney–Bladder system, which governs our most essential reserves of energy, our ability to rest and restore, and our inner sense of steadiness.
This intimate two-hour event at Devine Acupuncture combines acupuncture + sound bath meditation to gently support your nervous system, release tension, and refill your energetic well as we enter the heart of the winter season.
What to Expect:
During this deeply restorative evening, you’ll be guided through:
- A grounding introduction to Chinese medicine’s Water element, winter energetics, and how the season influences your body and emotions
- Gentle breathwork and settling practices to prepare your system
- A relaxing acupuncture treatment tailored for seasonal nourishment and nervous-system balance
- A cozy restorative setup with bolsters and blankets
- A fully immersive sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, and soft atmospheric instruments that guide the body into deep rest, regulation, and meditation
You’ll be invited to embody the qualities of the Water element:
- Softness instead of strain
- Listening instead of rushing
- Inner wisdom, trust, and renewal
