One of the Mindful Eating & Seasonal Cooking series, you will enjoy cooking, eating, and connecting with others in an energetic yet serene atmosphere. Join us to cook delicious, nourishing food in small teams, with a tea ceremony at the end. For all skill levels, great for individuals, families, couples, and friends! Chelsea-based Community Farm Chef Kori Kanayama hosts, in collaboration with the Triple Crane Retreat Center, a Zen Buddhist temple in Chelsea.

What do I do if I or someone in my party has food allergies or dietary restrictions?

If your food allergy or restriction requires accommodations, please contact Kori at 909-363-5430 as soon as you register, and at least seven days before the event date.

Is this workshop mostly for small groups of people who attend together?

Seasonal cooking workshops are a fun way for family members or friends to be together. We ensure that solo attendees enjoy themselves by cultivating a warmz atmosphere for making new connections. Also, each attendee or team chooses what they wish to work on, with time to observe others.

What written instructions will I receive in the workshop?

I will offer a list of items to be prepared in the workshop and recipes. I will be on hand to offer guidance and answer your questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question;)

Hi! I'm Kori, your community farm chef and cultural guide to authentic, nourishing foods in harmony with nature. I'm based at Tantre Farm in Chelsea, Michigan, to access the highest-quality ecologically grown produce that my friends lovingly grow. Because I am a community builder and nurturer of bodies and souls, my workshops are an engaging experience that uses cooking and eating as a doorway to talk about things that matter. With me, you will cook and eat delicious, nourishing food. That's the first thing. Everything else is gravy;)
