🎤 Community Event Pitch Competition

This is the highlight of the evening and your chance to turn an idea into reality!

  • The Challenge: Two or more individuals will team up (or arrive with a partner) to pitch the community on a unique event concept. The pitch should outline the vision, target audience, and community benefit of the proposed event.
  • The Prize: The winning team will receive the use of the Lerouxs Kitchen Venue to host their pitched event at absolutely NO CHARGE! This is a tremendous opportunity to launch your vision without the burden of venue costs.
  • 🎤 Community Event Pitch Competition: Rules & Opportunity

How to Win the Free Venue:

  1. Collaboration is Key: You must work together with at least one other person and combine more than one event concept into a cohesive proposal (e.g., a painting class combined with a local musician showcase).
  2. The Pitch: Your proposal must be clearly written on paper (provided at the event) and should detail the event's concept, community benefit, and execution plan.
  3. Community Vote: The attendees at the networking event will review the pitches and vote on the concept they believe will most benefit the Tulsa creative community. The proposal with the most votes wins!

Mandatory Stipulations for the Winning Event:

To receive the use of the Lerouxs Kitchen Venue at NO CHARGE, the winning event must adhere to the following:

  • Impact Requirement: The event must actively generate income or opportunities for other artists, local businesses, and creatives within the Tulsa area.
  • Accessibility: The main entry to the event must be free to the public.
  • Income Generation: Teams are encouraged to generate income through the sale of merchandise, vendor fees, or sales from optional activities, provided there is a complimentary/free option available to all attendees.
