Northeastern University's International Affairs Program and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology kindly invite you to the book launch for Professor Tiffany Joseph's latest book "Not All In: Race, Immigration, and Health Care Exclusion in the Age of Obamacare".

Tiffany Joseph will discuss her book with special guest discussant, Anahi Viladrich, Professor of Sociology at the City University of New York.

Opening reception is at 6pm. Discussion begins at 6:30pm followed by the author Q&A and book signing.

About the Author:
Tiffany Joseph is an associate professor of sociology and international affairs and the graduate program director for sociology at Northeastern University. Her research explores the micro-level consequences of public policy on individuals, immigrants’ health and healthcare access, comparative frameworks of race and migration in the Americas, and the experiences of faculty of color and women in academia. She is the author of Race on the Move: Brazilian Migrants and the Global Reconstruction of Race (Stanford Press 2015) and forthcoming book Not All In: Race, Immigration, and Healthcare Exclusion in the Age of Obamacare (Johns Hopkins University Press, March 2025). Her award-winning research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals and national media outlets.
