Northwest Wilderness Medicine Conference 2026

12/4/2025 Update: The event is currently sold out, you may add yourself to the waitlist. You will be given an opportunity to purchase if a current attendee is unable to attend.

Come to NWMC8 and enjoy our impressive line of guest speakers, workshops and scenarios to grow your knowledge of wilderness medicine. Created by medical students, for healthcare students.

Basic Schedule (more details to be posted on our website soon):

• Friday: Check in 4-6pm, followed by dinner and a talk
• Saturday: Speakers and workshops stations
• Sunday morning: Scenarios

Speaker topics and workshops are still being finalized but some topics are assessment and transport, splinting, knot tying, point of care ultrasound, risk in the wilderness.

Registration includes:

• Admission to all conference activities.

• Dorm-style lodging at the Mt Hood Kiwanis Camp on Friday and Saturday nights

• All meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Adult beverages will be supplied at evening events.

• FAWM credit

• Give-aways and more!

Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferrable up to 5 days before the event. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact us at nwmc@pnwmed.org and we will help transfer your ticket to someone on the waitlist.

T-Shirts: In efforts to be more sustainable, we will be using upcycled tshirts in the requested sizes and adding our NWMC T-shirt design made by Kali Silva of 07 Apparel (seen below). If you would like a guaranteed tshirt in your size, please purchase one with your ticket. We will have some tshirts for sale at the conference as well.

Camping: We are offering several discounted tickets at $115 for those that wish to car/van/tent camp at conference. Please understand there has been snow for all previous conferences (reference photo above from last year), so be prepared for true winter camping if you chose this option!
