Flock the Yard – A Fun Way to Fight Breast Cancer! 🦩
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Northside Hospital is celebrating by “Flocking the Yards” of our community with a fabulous flock of flamingos! These bright pink birds are more than just fun—they’re a conversation starter about something serious.
When you see a yard full of flamingos, we hope it brings a smile to your face and reminds you to schedule your annual cancer screening.
🩷 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
🩷 85% of them will have no family history of the disease.
🩷 Early detection saves lives.
All proceeds from the Flock the Yard initiative benefit Cancer Support Community Atlanta, providing vital resources to those impacted by cancer.

I’ve Been Flocked! What Now?
If you woke up to a surprise flock of flamingos in your yard—congrats, you’ve been flocked! 🦩
No action is needed. The flock arrives in the morning and flies away by evening. While they’re visiting, take a moment to reflect on the women in your life who’ve been affected by breast cancer. And if you’d like to keep the fun going, you can send the flock to someone else!
