Northeastern Fire Summit 2026

The Northeastern Fire Summit is THE premier Fire Conference in New England. Hosted annually by the New England FOOLS since 2012, it just keeps getting better each year.

2026 will prove to be no different. A three-day weekend packed with timely topics, tips and tricks brought to you by an unparalleled line-up of nationally recognized instructors and fire service leaders from FOOLS Chapters across the country.

Friday to Sunday March 13th to the 15th 2026 at the Village By the Sea in Wells Maine.

Friday March 13th, Doors Open at 1000 with access to the vendor area, with lectures beginning at 1100. There will be five separate lectures over the day. The doors will reopen for pizza & beer and our keynote speaker in the Maine Ballroom at 1800.

Saturday March 14th, doors will open at 0745 with access to the vendor area, coffee, and pastries. Lectures will begin by 0815 with the Leadership track in the Board Room and the Tactical Track in the Maine Ballroom. Lunch will be served. There will be a break at the end of the day’s presentations to visit the vendors and powder your noses. We’ll reconvene for a BBQ buffet dinner followed by the annual ceremony and then a moderated round-table discussion over drinks with our assembled instructors and all of our attendees we're calling "Tactical Tutelage, Saturday Tailboard Talk. Where myths, messages and mentors come together. "

Sunday March 15th, doors open at 0745 with access to the vendor area, coffee, and pastries. Attendees will gather in the Maine Ballroom for a interactive session put on by two of the New England FOOLS best and brightest, before we head our separate ways.

We will be hosting our second annual New England FOOLS Family First Breakfast beginning at 0900. Facilitated by some of our FOOLS wives, there will be a speaker, along with breakfast and a roundtable for our spouses and other (better) halves.

Three-day conference: $250.00 For FOOLS Members and SMCC Fire Science Students; $275.00 Non-FOOLS Members. Single-day Friday OR Saturday lectures only; $185. Family First B’fast $25.

The Village By the Sea has again reserved their entire facility for us this year with additional rooms available next door at the Elmwood Resort.
