  • Grow your collective influence
  • Deepen relationships quickly through intentional agendas
  • Expand your reach
  • Generate more referrals in less time

About the Groups:

NIA Transformative Connections is a professional networking group for Twin Cities North Metro Business Owners and the surrounding areas. NIA groups are in North Oaks, Blaine, Andover, and New Brighton. Our members are dedicated to transforming their networking experiences into a strong support and referral partnership community. Our member groups meet monthly, which gives Business Owners time to attend NIA Industry Collaboratives and deepen connections with their group members through one-on-ones. See the Group Members

Meeting the Facilitator: Angela Obert

With a rich background in sales and business development and coming from a large, dynamic family, she has a unique ability to facilitate meaningful exchanges beyond mere transactions. For her, the heart of networking lies in delving deep into vulnerable conversations, seeking to understand the individuals behind the titles and labels. This creates a collective community of resources and success.

Visit a Network in Action Minnesota business network group with interactive activities and a human-connection focus can provide several opportunistic advantages for a small business owner, such as:

1. Establishing Trust for Future Transactions

* Since the group prioritizes deeper relationships over quick sales, you can build trust with potential clients and partners before discussing business.

* This creates a foundation for long-term customer loyalty and referrals.

2. Standing Out as a Go-To Expert

* Being the only business in your category ensures exclusivity, meaning you won’t compete with others in the same field.

* By consistently showing up and engaging, you can position yourself as the trusted expert in your industry.

3. Getting Quality Referrals

* Members will personally vouch for you when referring you to others, making leads warmer and more likely to convert.

* Since these referrals come from trusted relationships, they have a higher close rate than cold leads.

4. Sharpening Your People Skills

* Interactive activities help refine your communication, listening, and emotional intelligence skills.

* This makes you better at understanding clients' real needs and adapting your sales and service approach accordingly.

5. Business and Personal Growth

* Learning from other successful business owners in different industries provides insights that can help you improve your own strategies.

* You’ll also get fresh perspectives on marketing, customer service, and business development.

6. Expanding Your Influence in the Community

* If the group has a strong local presence, your credibility in the area will grow.

* The connections made could lead to collaborations, partnerships, or speaking opportunities that increase visibility.
