This truly hands-on workshop will cover tactile drawing techniques created for blind and low-vision artists. We will explore line, shape, and texture, as well as production methods for making tactile images. Covering nonvisual drawing and spatial reasoning skills, and a walkthrough of ways to teach tactile reading skills, this workshop expands drawing instruction within the blind and low vision community. A truly sensational experience that will have drawings lifted to a new dimension.
Blind, low vision, and sighted artists (and enthusiasts) of any age are welcome. No experience necessary.
