Have you ever written anything at your nonprofit job? Have you heard about ChatGPT? Do you want to learn more about how to use this tool as a way to help your work?
Nathan and Beth are local communications and fundraising pros and have been experimenting with these tools. Join us to learn:
- What is AI/ChatGPT?
- Why do I care?
- Ways to use this tool -- demos and practice
Before joining this session, participants will need to create a ChatGPT account, and please bring a laptop if you have one. Sign up for ChatGTP here.
Who should join:
This Nonprofit Cafe session is open to all Gallatin County nonprofit staff and board members who want to better understand the potential of AI. No prior experience using these platforms is necessary.
About the Speakers:
Beth joined Haven in 2021 with 20+ years of experience in communications, writing, PR, journalism, and communications strategy related to advocacy and fundraising. Of note is her strategic communications work that helped pass a bill to protect Yellowstone National Park from gold mining, national television and print media placements for organizations, and more than a decade of work as a freelance foreign correspondent for national newspapers and magazines. Beth was part of a cross-border team of journalists who won the 2011 Daniel Pearl Global Investigative Journalism Award.
Nathan joined Bridgercare in December of 2021 after years serving in a number of roles in legislative and political communications. At Bridgercare, Nathan drives donor engagement operations and helps to oversee external communications across media. Outside of Bridgercare, Nathan can be found in the mountains or at the movies.
