Join Allegheny County Conservation District (ACCD) for a hands-on field day designed for municipal employees, parks staff, and public works professionals. This interactive workshop will focus on clean water planning through best management practices such as erosion control, low-maintenance stormwater strategies, green infrastructure, and more.
- About: Participants will explore active construction sites, functioning green stormwater infrastructure, and ways to protect water resources. Hear directly from inspectors and owners about implementation and long-term maintenance of these practices.
- Location: Training will begin at Woodland Hills High School followed by on-site learning at nearby locations that participants will need to drive to. More information will be provided upon registration.
- Audience: Municipal staff, public works professionals, and parks employees
- Refreshments: Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
- Details: Please bring personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety vest, and closed-toe shoes); extras will be available if needed.
