How do I register for the NOLA STEM Summit?

Select the Eventbrite NOLA STEM Summit Registration link for the day that is geared towards the grade level(s) you teach. Then, click the orange “reserve a spot” button. Please reserve a spot for one summit date.

How many seats are available for the NOLA STEM Summit?

We have 200 spots open for teachers at the NOLA STEM Summit. On May 25th, we will welcome 100 elementary educators, and on May 26th, we have spots for 100 middle and high school educators.

Question 3

If seats fill up, will there be a waitlist?

Accepted Answer

Yes, once seats have been filled you will have the option to be added to a waitlist through the registration link.

Question 4

I received notification that I am on the waitlist, will I be notified when a seat is available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If seats become available we will begin to pull from the waitlist and you will be notified as soon as possible.

Are there breakout sessions? Where can I find information about them?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are breakout sessions. After completing registration, you will receive a “next steps” email with the STEM Summit Session Sign-Up Form that will include information about each session. The form will allow participants to select the sessions that they would like to attend.

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

Participants who drive to the summit may pay to park in the Pan American Life Center garage (8hrs, $17/ 12hrs, $20), the Premium Parking lot (9hrs, $22/ 12hrs, $24) located directly across the street, or utilize metered street parking.

Where do I go to check in?

Once you reach the 11th floor of the Pan American Life Center, signs will direct you to the registration/check-in table.

Is there a dress code for the event?

The dress code is “smart casual” (informal, relaxed professional look).

Question 9

Do I need to bring a laptop?

Accepted Answer

Participants will not need a laptop for sessions, however, you are welcome to bring your laptop for note taking.
