Noel Community Organization is a non-profit organization that supports LA County community members with food and other daily life resources.
Food Distributions
Anyone in need of food can come get free groceries. If you’re looking for fresh produce, canned goods, or ready to eat foods and snacks, we’ve got you covered. We have a food and resource distribution every Saturday at one of our local pantries. Check our schedule for the date, time and location most convenient for you. 5th weekend Saturdays are by appointment only.
Food Recovery/ Food Rescue
We recover/rescue food from businesses or organizations that have food, like: grocery stores, sports events, festivals, fairs, hotels, movie theaters, restaurants, bakeries. Nutritious edible food is recovered before it goes to waste, and then distributed to the community.
Volunteering & Community Service
Sign up as a volunteer and participate in helping the community; it can be individually or as a group. Volunteering promotes team building and shows community strength.
Students can register as a volunteer and earn community service credit/hours, and receive a certificate after volunteer service completion.
Donation
Organizations need donations to help achieve their missions. It helps with operational costs such as utilities, technology, insurance, administrative supplies, equipment, expanding programs, ensuring rapid relief efforts and other application fees and licensing. Without donations, many organizations would struggle to function or make a meaningful impact.
Please remember and consider Noel Community Organization when making your donations. Our donors feel good and proud knowing their donations have gone towards genuine efforts in the community.
Financial donations can be given online at www.noelcommunity.org, or by check mailed to PO Box 372, Long Beach, Ca 90801.
Resource donations like food, water, hygiene products, and other daily life items can be given by scheduling a pick-up or drop-off. Call 562-335-1330 or email info@noelcommunity.org to schedule resource donations.
