Calling all young (and young at heart) professionals in and around Wilmington and New Castle County! As part of this June's annual Nine Innings of Networking game, the largest summer networking event around, the Delaware Difference Makers will be holding a special ticketed networking event in the third base reserved picnic area. The goal of this event is to bring business and nonprofit professionals together for a fun evening of networking at the Blue Rocks.

Tickets for this networking event are $35 each, and this price includes admission to the game, access to the special reserved area for this networking event, and a summer buffet BBQ (with hot dogs, burgers, chips, and pasta salad). There will also be a cash bar.

We anticipate a great turnout and representatives from a variety of business and nonprofit organizations will be there. Don't miss out on this new and unique opportunity to meet and connect with your colleagues and counterparts who work in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors locally. Reserved Admission/Networking Ticket: $35.
Social Sponsor: $250. Sponsorship includes 5 Reserved Admission/Networking tickets and recognition at the networking event.
Networking Sponsor: $500. Sponsorship includes 10 Reserved Admission/Networking tickets and recognition at the networking event. Networking Sponsors will also have the opportunity to give away swag or collateral to all guests of the Difference Makers networking event on June 10.
Beverage Sponsor (1 available): $1,000. Sponsorship includes 10 Reserved Admission/Networking tickets and recognition at the event. Upon checking in at the game, all guests to the networking event will receive a beverage ticket featuring your organization's logo, which will entitle them to 1 free drink from the bar in our reserved area.
Difference Maker Sponsor: $1,000. Sponsorship includes 20 Reserved Admission/Networking tickets and recognition at the event. Difference Maker Sponsors will have the opportunity to give away swag or collateral to all guests of the Difference Makers networking event on June 10 and also have the option to provide the same swag or collateral to all attendees of the Nine Innings of Networking event at the registration table at the stadium entrance (300+).

We will be separately recognizing all sponsors and the different nonprofits that will be in attendance on our Facebook event page and in other social media. Sponsors will also be recognized in the digital program that is provided to all pre-registrants of the Nine Innings of Networking job fair and archived after the event on the Delaware Job Fairs website.

Who are the Delaware Difference Makers?

The Delaware Difference Makers are professionals who work in or with the nonprofit sector in Delaware and whose work substantially impacts the Delaware and Delaware Valley community. As an informal networking group that started in January 2016, the Delaware Difference Makers meet regularly once a month.

Is this a different event than the Nine Innings of Networking job fair?

Yes. The Nine Innings of Networking job fair will take place around the concourse. Attendees of our networking event are free to visit and interact with any of the employers who are there, and many of those employers will be also have representatives at the Delaware Difference Makers networking event. Those with a Delaware Difference Makers networking ticket will be free to visit with any of the employers around the concourse, but only those guests with tickets will be able to get into the Delaware Difference Makers networking event/section.

Do you know any of the employers who will be there?

For the Nine Innings of Networking job fair, the current list of employers can be found here. These employers will be given tickets to the Delaware Difference Makers networking event as part of being at the job fair. Other groups or nonprofits in attendance will be posted here and on our event's social media page as the event draws closer.

How many people do you think will attend this particular networking event?

We currently anticipate approximately 50 people will attend this event. As those numbers revise (upward), we will update the answer to this question accordingly.

Where do I get my tickets?

We will have a registration table set up at the stadium on June 15. You will need a ticket to get into the stadium and that ticket will also get you admission to our reserved area.

What groups are going to be there?

There will be different business and nonprofit professionals there representing their organizations. Some of the young professional groups with representatives there include Accelerate Delaware, Metropolitant Urban League Wilmington Young Professionals, Next Gen North of the Delaware Community Foundation, and the Wilmington Jaycees. Other nonprofit professionals from the Delaware Community Reinvestment Action Council (DCRAC), Tech Impact's ITWorks, Your Money 101, Wilmington Friends, and Delaware Symphony Orchestra. Many of the employers at the job fair will also have representatives networking at the event as well.
