About the book:
Night & Day is a horror anthology edited by the genre’s greatest, Ellen Datlow. In this new addition to the Saga Doubles series, one side features stories about what haunts the night, while the other side showcases the terrors that can exist in the light of day. This anthology contains stories from some of the most evocative and bestselling writers of horror and speculative fiction like Clay McLeod Chapman, Eric LaRocca, Stephen Graham Jones, Priya Sharma, Rachel Harrison and many more.
About the speakers:
Ellen Datlow is an award-winning editor and anthologist who has been editing sf/f/h short fiction for more than four decades, currently acquiring short stories and novellas for Reactor and its horror imprint Nightfire. She also edits anthologies Her most recent original anthology is Night and Day. She has edited a Best Horror of the Year anthology for almost forty years. Datlow is recipient of the Karl Edward Wagner Award for "outstanding contribution to the genre," the Life Achievement Award given by the HWA, and Life Achievement Award given by the World Fantasy Convention.
She also runs the long-running Fantastic Fiction at KGB reading series in the east village, NYC, with Matthew Kressel.
A.C. Wise is the author of the novels Wendy, Darling, Hooked, and Ballad of the Bone Road, along with several novellas and short story collections. Her work has won the Sunburst Award, and been a finalist for the Nebula, World Fantasy, Stoker, Shirley Jackson, Locus, British Fantasy, Aurora, Ignyte, and Lambda Literary Awards. In addition to her fiction, she contributes review columns to Locus and Apex magazines.
A.T. Greenblatt is an engineer and writer. She won the 2019 Nebula Award for Best Short Story for “Give the Family My Love" and has been a finalist for the Hugo Award, the Locus Award, the Theodore Sturgeon Award, World Fantasy Award, and the Parsec Award. Her stories have appeared in Uncanny, Clarkesworld, Tor.com. Asimov’s, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Strange Horizons, Escape Pod, Podcastle, and others.
Clay McLeod Chapman is the author of Wake Up and Open Your Eyes, Kill Your Darling, Stay on the Line, What Kind of Mother, Ghost Eaters, Whisper Down the Lane, The Remaking, and miss corpus, story collections nothing untoward, commencement and rest area, as well as The Tribe middlegrade series: Homeroom Headhunters, Camp Cannibal and Academic Assassins.
Upcoming books include the novella Bodies of Work (April 2026) and the Harlequin “horrormance” novel Devil Inside (August 2026).
