Frequently asked questions

Can my children attend?

We recommend attendees are at least 8 years old or older. This is a one-man performance, and it is difficult for younger children to understand the different characters.

Where can I park?

The church doesn't have its own parking lot, but there is free parking on the street or you can park in the free municipal lot a half block away down Stacy Street.

Is the reception free?

Yes, the reception is free. Everyone seems to enjoy the variety of desserts provided while they spend time talking with and taking pictures with Mr. Dickens following each performance.

Is there a benefit to attending both shows?

Yes. You can attend both shows for $30. Tickets for individual shows are $20 each.

Is there anything to do in Burlington if I attend both shows?

Absolutely! Take advantage of the city's beautiful riverfront promenade just a few blocks from the church. There are also many good restaurants - some within a block or two of the church, others within just a few minutes' drive - where you can eat dinner between the performances.
