Who can attend these sessions?

These sessions are open to all registered STEM Ambassadors based in Northern Ireland. Whether you’re brand new to the programme or have been volunteering for years, you’re very welcome to join.

Question 2

Do I need to prepare anything in advance?

Accepted Answer

No preparation is required. These are informal drop-in sessions, so just bring yourself (and perhaps a cuppa). You’re welcome to share questions, ideas or experiences, but there’s no pressure to speak if you prefer to listen in.

How do I access the session?

After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a Microsoft Teams link. You’ll also get reminder emails with the same link shortly before the event.

What if I register but can’t make it?

Accepted Answer

That’s no problem at all. We understand things come up. If you’re unable to attend, there’s no need to cancel — and you’re welcome to join a future session instead.

Can I join both the lunchtime and evening sessions?

Yes. You can attend whichever session best suits your schedule — or both, if you'd like to continue the conversation.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Accepted Answer

No, these are informal, interactive sessions and will not be recorded. This helps create a relaxed and open space for discussion.

Can I suggest a topic or idea for future sessions?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We encourage suggestions and feedback — there will be time during each session to share your ideas. You’re also welcome to get in touch with the organiser directly.
