This 6-day course equips students with the skills to evaluate fire and injury prevention programs effectively. It introduces a practical, ethical, and systematic approach to evaluation, emphasizing involvement from all stakeholders. The course focuses on clearing up misconceptions, outlining key evaluation elements, guiding students through evaluation steps, and reviewing standards for effective program evaluation.

Additional Information:

  • Student Eligibility Requirements- You may take courses offered by the National Fire Academy (NFA) if you have substantial involvement in fire prevention and control, emergency medical services, fire-related emergency management activities or aligned professions. In most cases, you can't take the same course more than once.
  • Students must have completed ICS-100 & ICS-200
  • Pre-work will be sent about 2 weeks before the class.

Yes, DPSST offers free on-site lodging for students traveling 75 miles or more to attend this class. Eligible students who choose to use this option will be accommodated in dorm-style rooms.
