What’s Included in Each 4-Week Module

Customized Run Coaching Personalized weekly training plans delivered via the VDOT app, plus race-specific strategy, pacing, and terrain preparation. Includes weekly check-ins, pre- and post-race calls, and text access to your coach.

Strength Training for Runners Access to 40+ group sessions per week including targeted strength, mobility, and recovery classes designed to enhance running performance and prevent injury.

Recovery & Breathwork Guided recovery sessions, breathwork, and movement drills to keep your body fresh and injury-free.

Run Coach & Physical Therapist Amber is an RRCA-certified run coach with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and over 10 years of clinical experience. She’s a board-certified orthopedic specialist and a fellowship-trained manual therapist. Amber has coached runners from 5K to ultra-marathon, helping them train smart, stay injury-free, and enjoy the process. She delivers custom run plans through the VDOT app and offers ongoing support to adjust training around life’s curveballs. Amber knows what it takes to train through Houston summers—and she’s here to hold you accountable!

No gimmicks—just practical, science-based support to help you build lifelong habits around food and performance.

Each 45-minute session includes an initial data capture using the Helix 3D System, which provides a detailed look at your running mechanics. You'll then review the findings with Dr. Amber, a Running Gait Certified Analyst, to understand how your form may be impacting your efficiency or contributing to discomfort.

After discussing key takeaways, you'll run again to confirm that the recommended changes are taking effect. From there, you'll receive targeted drills and an online program to help you integrate these adjustments into your daily running routine.

Most runners benefit from 2–3 follow-up sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart, allowing for continued progression and refinement of form.
