This class will show you how to get your pile up to a satisfactory "hot" temperature. We will also dive into the thermal timeline so you become familiar with how to control your temperature by manipulating air, moisture, and covers. You will also learn in this class how to sieve and store your compost adequately to preserve your hard work. Finally, we will teach you how to test your compost with a bioassay, as well as by sending it to the laboratory, for a diagnostic check on its ability to provide nutrients to your plants.
