How do I get to the taproom?

From Van Dyke Street, make a left down Barnell Street and the taproom is all the way down on the right-hand side.  For rideshare or taxi services, use 322 Barnell Street as the address.

Is there parking?

Strong Rope does not have on-site parking. Street parking is available, please check signs for hours/availability. No parking permitted on Barnell Street or private lots as your vehicle will likely be towed. We encourage using public transportation as much as possible.

What public transportation options are there?

The closest subway is the F/G line at Smith and 9th Streets. The NYC Ferry South Brooklyn route and the B57 and B61 bus routes serve Red Hook.

What drinks do you serve?

We are a New York farm brewery with beers made with 100% New York ingredients. We also serve New York state wine (white, red, and rosé), cider, spirits served neat (no ice), and a canned cocktail. Non-alcoholic options are available, including an NA beer, an NA cocktail, and sodas.

Will I see the fireworks?

Fireworks are typically scheduled to go off over the harbor at midnight, weather permitting. Strong Rope Brewery cannot guarantee a view of the fireworks.
