Overview
New Year, New Resources: A Coping Skills & Healing Workshop
New Year, New Resources is an immersive healing workshop created by and for Black people, grounded in community care, collective healing, and culturally responsive practices.
This small-group gathering focuses on practical coping skills that support mental health and emotional regulation. Participants will engage in guided meditation, breathing exercises, reflective journaling, music as a traditional healing practice, and other grounding practices.
The workshop also includes intentional time to meet one another, connect, and co-create community in a way that feels supportive and low-pressure. Participation is always optional, and no one will be asked to share beyond their comfort level.
This is an intimate setting with limited seating, designed to encourage presence, care, and shared reflection.
Sliding Scale: This event is offered on a sliding scale ($10–$50) to expand access to healing and mental health resources. Please select the option that aligns with your capacity. All tickets provide the same experience.
