Join us for a special screening of New Wave, a coming-of-age documentary by award-winning filmmaker Elizabeth Ai, exploring the lives of Vietnamese refugee youth in 1980s Orange County who found identity, belonging, and rebellion through New Wave music.

Following the screening, stay for an insightful Q&A with:

Elizabeth Ai – Director of New Wave

Oliver Wang – Cultural critic, DJ, and sociology professor at Cal State Long Beach

Phung Huynh – Artist and educator whose work explores cultural identity and displacement
