About this event

This Virtual Learning Network (VLN) collaboration is led by Baylor University’s Center for School Leadership (BCSL) and The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership (CEFEL) which has created a New Leaders Peer Support Network. The Virtual Network is developed around the research and ideas of networked improvement communities (NIC) and Collective Leadership that will focus on improving the capacity of the participants and their schools and to partner Christian schools to fulfill their missions individually and as a cohort.

This network is aimed at newer leaders within schools who are passionate about securing real improvements in their school to make them ‘more just’ as well as a greater reflection of their community as they seek to fulfil their mission within their school’s stated context. These leaders must be humble in order to be challenged, open to differing perspectives, have a desire to rethink leadership systems, and ambitious for better outcomes for their students.

Participants will need to commit to regular preparation for and attendance at these monthly gatherings.

The Baylor's Center for School Leadership exists to equip leaders for impactful, innovative, mission-minded service promoting excellence and effectiveness in faith-based schools.

The aim of the CSL is to create an avenue for leaders of education to not only excel in the role of Christian leader but to provide transformational leadership within the leader’s distinct institution that will positively impact generations of students.
