Join NEW INC’s community of interdisciplinary sole practitioners, artists, creative studios and start-ups for an evening of Mentor/Mentee speed networking followed by a mixer on October 3rd at 6 pm.

This is not your typical networking event. It's been carefully curated to create connections between our new cohort of creative practitioners and industry leaders/experts who seek to engage our community as prospective mentors. This is also an opportunity to expose both our members and prospective mentors to fellow practitioners from various disciplines, with a range of expertise and areas of interest.

SCHEDULE

6:00 pm - Arrival + Info Session

6:45 - Networking program starts (Skyroom)

7:30 pm - Social Mixer

8:30 pm - Event concludes

ABOUT THE FORMAT:

1. Each fast-paced one-to-one session lasts 6 minutes.

2. NEW INC Members have 1.5 minutes (there will be a timekeeper) to present their company/project as a proposition to a potential mentor. Then switch - then its the mentor’s chance to present.

3. Both Mentors and Mentees have an additional 3 minutes to debrief, exchange ideas and decide whether there is a mutual connection.

4. After the end of each session, members will quickly alternate their seating arrangements to pair up with their next networking opportunity.

5. After 60-minutes you will have conversed with approximately 7 mentors/mentees, after which you can deepen the newly formed relationships at an informal mixer.

6. As you leave the mixer, we will ask all participants to fill out their top 3 choices for mentors/mentees which will be used to create matches for the year-long Mentorship Program.
