New Horizon in EJ - Building Resiliency and Cross-Sector Collaborations

This event is open to all Maine nonprofit organizations who identify as environmental, ecological, or environmental justice-focused.
Join us for this free in-person gathering designed for Maine-based nonprofits that are working in the environmental, ecological, or climate fields.
This event is being co-hosted by:
- The Land Peace Foundation
- The Maine Philanthropy Center
- The Grassroots Fund
- The New England Environmental Justice Hub
This full day event will serve two purposes. First, it will provide a sincere wellness check for organizations that are struggling to understand, navigate, and survive in the current climate. Second, it will offer meaningful support in the following areas:
- Getting up to speed on the Current Environmental Legal and Policy Landscape.
- Developing a Clear and Concise Organizational Needs Assessments.
- Connecting Organizations for Collaboration and Cooperation.
- Helping Identify Funding Opportunities.
- Providing Tools for Emotional and Organizational Resilience.
Through shared learning, small-group discussions, and system mapping, participants will build a stronger sense of organizational identity, assets, resilience. And leave with new insights, practical strategies for next steps, and a network of peers committed to advancing environmental justice.
