When a choir wants to hold out a really long note, individual singers stagger their breath. This way the singers get what they need (air) and the note can ring out indefinitely. Our amazing facilitator community is a place where Moms (and Aunties and Allies!) step up to help, and step back when they need to, while the work goes on, sustained by our collective efforts. As such, we are always looking for new leaders who are ready to step up for a time!
Local Chapter Facilitators organize and hold a safe space for their community's mothers to gather, connect, and organize for collective action under CoM's three pillars - affordable childcare, improved maternal health, and paid leave - within a nonpartisan framework. We provide ongoing training and support, and a small budget for your chapter.
