NEW Childbirth Classes: Learning From the Wisdom of Doulas
Overview
Boston Doula Circle welcomes you to learn from the hard-earned wisdom of doulas, whether or not birthing with a doula is part of your plan!
Our instructors are trained by major organizations including Lamaze and BADT. In addition, what makes our classes unique is our years of on-the-ground experience as advocates and mentors for families as they navigate the powerful events of birth.
Doulas are experts in unmedicated birth for parents who choose this option, whether for part or all of your birth. We also help families learn to make decisions about medical options that are most likely to maximize benefits and minimize risks.
Birth cannot be controlled, but it can be prepared for -- and this can make the difference between a traumatic vs. an empowering birth!
Upcoming dates:
- September 2, 6:30–8:00 PM Eastern Time on Zoom. Topic: Unmedicated Birth Q&A
