About the Session
Join Silicon Flatirons for a special Crash Course evening with Sue Heilbronner. Sue’s interactive session helps you succeed in sales by synthesizing decades of experience into stories, tools, and exercises.
Sue’s Crash Course highlights a simple technique: passionate ambivalence. This workshop is based upon Sue’s new book, Never Ask for the Sale: Supercharge Your Business with the Power of Passionate Ambivalence, published on September 9th by Hachette Balance. The central tenet of the book is the notion that you are at the heart of every sale.
Sue grew her executive solopreneur venture from zero to $1 million in annual revenue in six years. Sue’s approach teaches to do the work you love with customers you admire at desirable rates. Passionate ambivalence generates results when you align your work with your greatest strengths, become excited about prospective opportunities, and remain neutral regardless of whether or not potential business results in a sale.
In this Crash Course, you will master the concept of selling yourself with various tools, such as:
- understanding the power of unconscious commitments,
- unpacking and addressing limiting beliefs,
- crafting the most impactful two-minute bio,
- conducting a revelatory “fit call”
- learning when and how to say “no”
- pricing, billing, and many more.
