Requirements:
- Must be a licensed California medical professional (RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, etc)
- Must bring your own model who will pay a discounted rate of $10/unit who will have multiple areas treated. If you are unable to acquire a model, please let our staff know and we will arrange one for you.
Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of neuromodulators, with a focus on their mechanisms, clinical uses, and safety considerations. Designed for beginners in aesthetic medicine, the course covers the basic science behind neuromodulators such as botulinum toxin (Botox®, Letybo®, Xeomin® and Daxxify®), how they interact with the nervous system, and their role in cosmetic treatments. Students will gain foundational knowledge in facial anatomy, proper injection techniques, patient assessment, and treatment planning for the FDA approved areas of glabella, frontalis, and lateral canthal lines. The course also addresses common complications and informed consent.
