Did you know that at least 70% of jobs are not advertised?
Networking is a critical skill to develop for job search and ongoing career success - in truth, we believe it is essential for work and life! Yet, it is one of the least understood (and most feared) of all professional skills. This interactive workshop helps participants gain insight, perspective, and practice with useful techniques for better, more effective networking whether exploring new careers, seeking referrals and information about open positions or tapping into the hidden job market. A workbook with resources will be provided.
The Career Transitions Center (CTC) empowers professionals to find meaningful employment. Founded over 25 years ago is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, CTC provides personalized coaching support and training on the latest career search skills and strategies to jump-start your effort whether you are furloughed, unemployed, underemployed, or unfulfilled. We are offering Virtual Career Service to our clients so that they can access the Career Transitions Center of Chicago’s proven resources from the safety of their homes during COVID-19.

JASC engages people of all ages to experience Japanese American history and culture and to improve their well-being through innovative, high quality programs and services tailored to the multicultural community.
Founded in 1946, JASC was formed to serve the needs of Japanese immigrants and their American-born children coming to Chicago after leaving the World War II internment camps. Originally called the Chicago Resettlers Committee, the organization assisted with housing, jobs, and the re-forming of a community.
