Our StoryIn 1906, the first incorporated advertising league was established in New York City to encourage collaboration and innovation amongst industry professionals, with the notable exception of some — Women. Recognizing their careers hinged on access to the same opportunities as their male peers, women sought entry to these clubs, but were denied. So in 1912, our founder Christine Frederick established The League of Advertising Women, which later became Advertising Women of New York. We provided women with professional education, scholarships, and access to industry events to further their careers. More than a century later, we are She Runs It, a global community of ~6,000 members in 44 states and 15 countries. In everything we do, we pursue our mission to pave the way for more women of every background, ethnicity, and identity to lead at every level of her career in marketing, media, and tech.

This circle will dive into the challenges and opportunities of building relationships across virtual and physical spaces.Ageism in the Workplace - hosted by April Carlisle Age bias can impact employees at any stage of their careers. This circle will offer a space to share experiences and explore how we can build more age-inclusive teams.Imposter Syndrome - hosted by Tiffany Wade Imposter syndrome affects professionals at all levels, often undermining confidence despite achievements. This circle will unpack the roots of imposter syndrome and share strategies for overcoming it. Each circle will be hosted by a peer leader who will guide the conversation, ensuring an engaging and supportive experience. Leave with new insights, practical strategies, and stronger connections!
