Nesting: A Poetry Reading
Overview
Taking place at the beautiful Happy Goat Laurel St. location, come enjoy an evening full of poems on the theme of "home and belonging".
Hosted and curated by Noah Reinoso (@reinpress on instagram), he will read from his newest zine "Nesting" and introduce you to talented, primarily queer and trans BIPOC poets from around Ottawa.
Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. and the reading will begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Seating is first-come, first-served. There will be chairs arranged to seat 30 people, with additional standing room for 20 people.
Copies of the zine "Nesting", as well as some linocut prints + stickers by Noah will be available after the reading.
This is a covid-conscious event and ticket-holders will be asked to wear a mask throughout the evening (masks will be provided for those without). Performing poets may choose to wear or not wear one while they read, but will be promptly worn post-set.
Coat check will be available by donation (cash only).
There are no stairs to enter the venue, but there is a small lip upon entering the space. Washrooms are gender neutral.
