That’s not just stress. It’s your nervous system trying to get your attention.

You’re invited to a free barefoot beach walk created to help you reset, restore, and feel a little more like yourself again.

We’ll begin with a short intention-setting in the woods, followed by a peaceful trail walk and stair descent to the beach. At low tide, we’ll walk together barefoot on the sand, quietly, calmly, and without rush. This is a space to move slowly, breathe fully, and land in your body.


👣 Why Barefoot?

Grounding (walking barefoot on natural surfaces) is a powerful way to regulate your nervous system. It’s backed by research, but more importantly, it works.

Benefits may include:


  • Reduced cortisol and stress response

  • Better sleep

  • Less anxiety and overwhelm

  • A deeper sense of calm and presence

This is about helping your body feel safe again.

It’s not woo. It’s biology. And it works, especially for women who never get a moment to themselves.

⏱ WHAT TO EXPECT:


  • Welcome + intention setting

  • Short forest trail walk (~1/3 mile)

  • 100+ stairs down to the beach

  • Barefoot walk on the sand during low tide

  • Return hike (steep, but go at your own pace)

🎒 WHAT TO BRING:


  • Water

  • Sturdy shoes for trail and stairs

  • Towel or cloth to wipe feet

  • Extra socks

  • Sunscreen or light layer

Hi, I’m Dawn Navaratnasingam. I’m an integrative nutrition health coach who helps women support their energy, hormones, and nervous systems through plant-powered nutrition and simple lifestyle shifts.

This walk is a free community offering. It’s an opportunity for us to connect, reset, and breathe together.
