Donna is an award winning international casting director, producer and educator. whose fruits of her work has been screened at prestigious film festivals such as Tribeca, Cannes, Berlin, Milan and more!

Donna loves actors and has a passion for discovering new talent. She teaches film and acting workshops at schools across the globe, including NYU Tisch School of Drama and the Screen Actors Guild NYCAP Program.

She is known for her ability to bring strong, diverse, innovative, new, and unexpected talent choices to a director. She has extensive experience casting features and short films as well as television pilots and web series. She has strong working relationships with agents and managers on both coasts, and is part of the Dark Moon TV Collective group.

She has cast numerous independent films, TV show, episodic radio shows, pilots and web-series in everything from Film, Commercials, Infomercials, Industrials, Voiceovers, Music Videos, Documentaries & Reality TV, Television during her more than 20 years in the business. These projects have received theatrical distribution and can be seen on Amazon Prime, iTunes, Apple as well as Direct TV and other streaming platforms.Producers and Directors love working with Donna as she listens carefully and comes to understand the vision for their project, providing them with an ensemble cast, utilizing both critically acclaimed actors from film, TV, and Broadway as well as new and upcoming talent.

Donna can be found at industry events and film festivals worldwide, speaking to actors and filmmakers, sharing her passion and knowledge, offering guidance and encouragement, inspiring artist to follow their dreams.As an educator Donna works with actors of all ages. She focuses on the craft of acting, improvisation, audition technique as well as a course called "Producing Your Career". In her McKenna Method Workshops, she works with actors to free their instrument, get out of their head and make bold choices using some theatre games she has developed during her career.Donna has been recognized by the industry for her efforts. In 2015 she was awarded the Casting Award of Merit at the IndieFest Film Festival for casting the film Leaves of the Tree starring Eric Roberts, Sean Young, Federico Castelluccio and Armand Assante, which was filmed in Texas and Sicily. Donna is a proud member of the Casting Society of America and a member of New York Women in FIlm and Television. Among some of her kudos are a Voice Arts Award for Best Ensemble Cast Performance Audio Show, the IndieFest Casting Award, Best Ensemble Casting from Blast Off FIlm Festival for Alter Ego and most recently received Runner Up 2020 Mandy.com Casting Director Award, nominated and chosen from casting directors around the world.

Projects such as A Cry From Within s tarring Cathy Moriarty, Excuse Me For Living with Jerry Stiller and Christopher Lloyd and her own television pilot Wholly Broken. Donna has volunteered her time as a Jury Judge at the Soho International Film Festival and the Golden Door Film Festival. She was also instrumental in the growth of the Long Island International Film Expo which is now in its 20th year. Donna loves actors and teaches film and acting workshops at many renowned schools including the SAG- AFTRA NYCAP program. She is a guest panelist on many industry and film festival panels to help actors understand this business and the best way they can prepare and market themselves. Donna believes part of her mission is to encourage and inspire all to follow their dreams and never give up no matter how hard it gets.
